Steve Delaney is a Personal Computer Consultant and is the owner of Steve’s Tech Direct. Steve began working with computers a very long time ago. As the personal computer (PC) began entering family homes, Steve began making his own computers. He then expanded to creating computers for family members. While his four-year-old niece started surfing her PC with ease, Steve found the older generation, such as his parents, needed a lot more guidance with their PC’s.
Steve expanded from helping his family to providing a service that has specialized in helping the older generation successfully use their PC’s to stay connected with friends and family. As he starts with answering questions about the “mouse” Steve quickly moves to helping his clients share pictures, join a social media site such as Facebook, and Skype with their grandchildren.
Steve’s recently helped his once four-year-old niece, pick out and then upgrade her college lap top. While she was reluctant to give up her PC she was realistic about the portability of the lap top and was reassured when Steve transferred all of her “valuables” from one machine to the other.
With over 20 years’ experience in various computer related disciplines and along with obtaining various IT certifications, Steve Delaney brings a multi-dimensional (and generational) approach to solving your computer needs.
